There is no place on earth more beautiful than the West Coast of California. Matt brought back some ocean water in a bottle for Solly and I to put on our tires. Solomon really didn't want to miss the end of the year performance and party at his school today, and I was on-call until 8am, so Matt and Yonah were our proxys. It is after midnight and we are finally packed and ready. I am looking forward to leaving already, and just getting on the road. I feel so lucky that for the next two months, I get to go on a nice, long bike ride EVERY DAY!
The next time you hear from us will be the first town with a public library.

I read about your trip in the Hutchinson News in Kansas. I look forward to following your blog. I used to meet many bicyclists at my previous job, and this is the first summer I won't be there.
