we finished off your bars today! They were so good. We had them everyday, all day. Yonah practically lived off them.
So, now the "Friends Who Really Love Us" bar has been raised! It started off with Mark and Sharon (and Ari & Eli)and the Gourmet dinner in Placerville, blueberry pancakes, two day sag over Carson pass....etc. etc. Then came Ken and the Cedar City imported cheese and chocolate extravaganza, two day sag over some high pass I forget the name of already, and the delivery of various sundry items we needed or wanted.
So, now all that remains is someone showing up in Kentucky with Annalisa's Orange Rolls and a sag over the Appalacians!! Whose it gonna be?
Which reminds me.....it turns out that Julie Kliger, one of my best friends for 30 years, present at my wedding and the birth of both my children, who I risk my life every summer to go backpacking with, isn't even reading my blog!!!! It turns out she is too busy nude sunbathing so she can taunt me with her seamless tan, while I will have to prance around looking like a patchwork quilt; shorts,sunglasses, watch,bike gloves, socks,shirt, etc. I can't believe it....you think you know someone....
