City Park Camping ahead....

we are leaving the land of hotels and KOAs and will probably be in city parks for while. The city parks are where a lot of cyclists go to sleep. Usually there is a bathroom nearby and a water pump to fill up bottles. Often the sprinklers go on at 6am too. This is always my lodging of last resort. The park in Eads was nice. There was a picnic table and lots of trees. But the bathroom was across the train tracks and a bit of a hike. Often times we get to a town and the library(if they have one), grocery store(usually there is only one), and pool (rare)are all closed. Often the hotels are full.
So far we have missed all the rain or it has rained while we were in a hotel.
Next up.....Rush City....no hotels or camping!

13 miles before Rush is Alexander, a small town with a park at the end of Main St. as it leads out of town, away from the highway.

On the local.live.com site the park can been seen as Balder Park -semi-large green space.

Great site by the way. You can see the street layouts of towns and guess their size. I did not know of this site until it listed in a previous comment. Thanks for the tip.
