comment before I go to bed. I know I might have to go live with the Prince of Barundi for mentioning it but Yonah's legs are getting so strong. He looks like a slimmed down version of one of those Russian Male Ballet Dancers...all long and defined muscles. And I am getting that weathered look. Despite numerous applications of sunscreen each day I am starting to look like one of those Migrant Mothers in a Dorothea Lange photograph.
That's it.
Tomorrow Ana and Pedro and their two kids will drive from Longmont to Pueblo to hang out with us for the afternoon.

Did I say it already. This is the times of
your lives..pure and simple. I took especial interest in the nature of the folks you are passing who find a family of four on their bikes on the highway as somehow un-American and need to be annoying. It strikes me hard that these folks may even vote. I will agree absolutely on the terrible
drivers in Colorado. But if the truth were told, American drivers aren't all that good. In Europe you have to put out a bunch of money and go to school for some time before you are deemed ready to get behind the wheel. Here, you drive two blocks, make a left and right hand turn, do a U turn, enter the highway, maybe... and
park and you are good to go.
Biscuit is an amazing guy. Here's to you..the making of a born leader.
So okay one more thing. Yogurt..with a U.
BTW you are, other than being yogurt challenged, a wonderful writer. Your journal blog is really a jewel..I love detail and
you know how to provide that with
so much humor. I am touched each time I read about how y'als day
went. Hope the coming weather has passed before you get to Kansas. Arizona was like 125 degrees or something..but then I hear Oregon
was well over 110 degrees. Keep on pedalling..you got a mighty job to do. Love to you all. Yvette
Aunty Vette, you are my most faithful reader! That is so true about American drivers. Thanks for the Yogurt info. My friend Chicky also helped me out with Ricochet..but I've since forgotten. I don't have spell check and I'm usually under the gun time wise, so I just close my eyes and go for it. One of our friends said it was 105 in SF the other day!!!!! Global Warming!
Love you,
Djina
